Challenge: Build the Brand Strategy from scratch and include Media Elements in the Plan for a Brand with International Operations.

Solution: We came up with Masala Darbar, offering spices that bring excitement and euphoria to any recipe, and gave our lip-smacking flavours a global twist, by taking it to the Canadian lands.

Role(s): Research, Campaign Ideation, Creative Conceptualization, Copywriting for Video Showcase, Digital Creatives and OOH.

Logo

Born as a means to provide Desi households with authentic and artisanal spices from hinterland India, this logo represents a Gateway to the World. Emboldened by the richness of our age-old culinary practices, we aim to welcome our patrons to a Darbar of Masalas, Flavours and Spices.

Introducing ‘Spicescapes’, straight from the Spice Bowl of the World. ‘Spicescape’ stands for ‘Spices and Escape’, and is meant to lead our audiences to a world of Masalas, surrounded by flavours from hinterland India. This would come with areas which would facilitate tasting.

I was inspired by the famous show, ‘Hot Ones with Sean Evans’, known for testing the limits on the ‘Scoville Scale- which denotes the level of pungency, spiciness or heat of Chili peppers. To spice things up, I gave it our own twist to engage our customers and visitors alike- by asking them to prepare their own dish- quick ones and see which Masala suits their palates best!
